From April 1st to October 1, there will be traffic disruptions on Main St between 6th and 7th St. While traffic may be maintained in both directions, there will be interruptions for the tower crane operating space, loading and unloading for wood framing, and semi trailers. From August 15 to October 7, there will be closures of parking and sidewalks to allow for a lift to replace windows. From September 19 to October 10, the South side of the Teal Road intersection with Bennett will be closed for an MSEwall installation in front of Bennett. Traffic will be allowed to enter Bennett but not to exit, as Northbound traffic will be closed. Southbound traffic will be able to access the subdivision. From September 23 to October 15, there will be a pavement preservation project in the Maplewood and Greenbriar Subdivisions. Areas in and around: South of Vinton St, West Dogwood Lane, North of Veterans Memorial Pkwy Ln, and East of Old 231. These roads will be immediately drivable post product being put down, however there will be a light coating of sand for 24 hours before clean-up. For all Saturdays between May 7th and October 29th of 2022, the Lafayette Farmer's Market will take place from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with open market hours running from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM During this time, 5th St, between Main and Columbia and Main and Ferry will be closed to traffic and parking.
